San Antonio: The cradle of sunset and partying

On the west coast of Ibiza is the area of San Antonio. What is so special about this festival that makes it one of the reference points for party-seeking tourists?

The parties at sunset. Yes. Known for its Sunset Strip and nightclubs such as Eden and Es Paradis, San Antonio is a popular place to watch sunsets while enjoying a drink, followed by a night out.

In addition, Eden has recently added residences due to the large influx of tourists in recent years. SHINE is back with Paul van Dyk, extending the party’s offerings to the island.

Playa d'en Bossa: Epicentre of electronic music

This is undoubtedly the most festive area of the island. Playa d’en Bossa is the perfect place for lovers of electronic music. 3 kilometres from Ibiza Town are the most important discotheques on the island, the ones that bring in the most money at the end of the year: Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza.

Likewise, the party par excellence at Hï Ibiza is the “Glitterbox“, making it another point of reference for those in search of good electronic music.

Ibiza Town: Exclusivity and glamour

For those looking for a more exclusive experience, Ibiza Town is the ideal choice. Here you will find luxury clubs such as Pacha and Lío, which combine high quality entertainment.

With a mix of glamour and high quality music, Pacha has presented events such as “Flower Power” and “Solomun +1”, attracting a very heterogeneous and exclusive tourism.

Another of the island’s most famous nightclubs, Amnesia, is located 12 minutes from the city centre. Known for its theme parties and events such as “elrow” and “Music On” with Marco Carola.

Tips to enjoy the party in Ibiza

If you don’t want to miss any party and you want to do it safely and without any problems, follow these tips. They are sure to come in handy once you’ve set foot on the island to enjoy the Ibiza nightlife.

Buy tickets in advance

This is paramount. As we have said, Ibiza’s nightlife is one of its main attractions and tickets to the most important events in the nightclubs are sold out within hours. So keep an eye on all club websites to get your ticket in advance.

From Welcome Ibiza we recommend you to buy them before making the trip, as once you get there you may find a sold out crowd at the door of the club.

Security advice

Enjoying the party in Ibiza is an experience you have to have once in your life, but it is important to take a few precautions. Keep your belongings safe, don’t accept drinks from strangers and make sure you know how to get back to your accommodation.

But, above all, if you drink, don’t drive.

Night transport

In high season, in Ibiza it becomes almost impossible to hail a taxi when the party is over.

So consider renting a car (and sacrificing not drinking, or drinking in moderation) or using the night bus service that connects the main party areas.

Also, if you want to secure a taxi, you can plan to be picked up at the exit of the party in advance.

Have you already got a ticket to a party? Enjoy and experience Ibiza’s nightlife like never before!
